Joe McCarthy began his career in the real estate and development business more than thirty years ago. He is a fifth generation Californian and his family has owned The McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas, California since the mid-1800’s. Joe began acquiring additional property and selling and developing portions of The McCarthy Ranch to meet the real estate needs of a rapidly-growing Silicon Valley. Joe has an established reputation and an excellent working relationship with local city governments and planning departments and established contacts with widely respected local architects, engineers and builders. He has a proud history of quality development projects that include Milpitas Business Park I & II, KLA Tencor’s corporate campus, South Valley Crown Plaza Hotel, McCarthy Ranch Marketplace, two motels, Irvine Co’s McCarthy Business Center, Veritas Corporate Campus (now occupied by Cisco Systems), and McCarthy Business Park in Gilroy, CA.
